He waits for her then follows her inside the place. It's much better than his flat, of course, but Zee has a regular job. John gets work when he can and sometimes doesn't even get paid.
Now that they're away from the theater and alone he walks closer and rests his hand on the small of her back. Perhaps too possessive for given what they are right now but he takes risks. His gut tells him she won't mind. ]
It's a nice place. Any of the neighbors complain about the weirder things that happen around you?
